 Walk-In Clinic

Injuries and illnesses don’t always happen when your doctor’s office is open. To help you receive care when you need it, Waverly Health Center offers a Walk-In Clinic to area residents.

The purpose of the Walk-In Clinic is to complement the care you receive from your primary care provider by offering same day care when your regular provider is not available. The Walk-In Clinic provides high-quality medical care for routine or urgent medical conditions that are not life-threatening for people of all ages.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Who should come to the clinic?
All adults and children are welcome. We treat medical conditions that need prompt care but are not life-threatening.

    Who will care for me?
The Walk-In Clinic is staffed by skilled and friendly health care providers including nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

    Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins only. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

How long will I have to wait?
Our goal is complete your care in less than one hour. While every attempt is made to see you as quickly as possible, wait times are based on the number of people seeking care as well as the seriousness of their conditions.

Is a Walk-In Clinic visit more affordable than an Emergency Room visit?
A Walk-In Clinic visit is normally a more economical choice for patients than an Emergency Room visit. Depending on their insurance, typically a patient at the Walk-In Clinic will pay a co-pay similar to what they may pay for a doctor’s office visit.
