Terry is originally from Hampton, Iowa and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics from Wartburg College in 1977. He has more than 16 years of fundraising experience, most recently serving as the owner of General Development Group and prior to that Director of Development for Franklin General Hospital. He and his wife Toni live in Nashua, Iowa.
