 The Lois Coonradt/Bolger Helipad
Acceptance Date: 1/29/2010
Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2011

Philanthropist David F. Bolger, President of The Bolger Foundation in Ridgewood, NJ and Chairman of Bolger & Co., Inc. also of Ridgewood has donated $900,000 to cover 100 percent of the cost to build a helicopter landing area on top of Waverly Health Center’s Centennial Pavilion. The new “Lois Coonradt/Bolger Helipad” will be located on the north half of the hospital’s roof.

“Because my son John is a flight paramedic and also a Trustee of The Bolger Foundation, we realize the value of a new helipad for the community,” stated Mr. Bolger. This new project will enhance the safety of the pilots, health care team and community members who need emergency transportation.
