Why does Waverly need a Community Health Resource Library?
Information and education are instrumental in helping patients understand and participate in their health care choices. The Community Health Resources Library will be a one stop location for much of the educational material that has been available throughout Waverly Health Center. By compiling them in one location, more people will have access to the resources.
Where is the Community Health Resource Library?
The Community Health Resource Library is located on the third floor of Waverly Health Center’s Centennial Pavilion. It is centrally located across from the nurse’s station and near the family lounge.
Who can use the Community Health Resource Library?
Anyone from the community has access to the library. The computer kiosk hosting the Medline Plus program is available 24 hours a day. The published materials including brochures, magazines and health resource publications are being assembled and will be available for checkout in the future.
