 Noah Campus Health Clinic is a comprehensive outpatient clinic on Wartburg College’s campus that can meet most health needs of students, faculty, and staff. Medical conditions that go beyond the scope of the campus health clinic are referred to off-campus providers.

 Who can use Noah Campus Health Clinic
 You are eligible to use the campus health clinic if you meet any of the following criteria:
  • Registered Wartburg student
  • Benefit-eligible faculty or staff member
  
 Where is the clinic located?
 Noah Campus Health Clinic is located in Suite 1392 at the Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center.
  
 When is the clinic open?
 
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday
10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday

 What if I need care after clinic hours, on weekends, or during college breaks?
  If your illness or injury is an emergency or you cannot wait for the next available clinic opening, go to the emergency room at Waverly Health Center. Care is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For life-threatening emergencies, anytime day or night, call 911.
  
 How do I pay for the services I receive?
 Health education services are free. For other services, you are responsible for all charges incurred at the campus health clinic. Please present your insurance card at the time of check-in. Our staff will make a copy of your card and you will need to sign an insurance consent form. Treatments, procedures, and other needed services and supplies will be submitted to your health insurance company or payment options are available. The guarantor, normally a parent or guardian for students, will receive an itemized bill from Waverly Health Center for co-payments, deductibles, and other charges not covered by insurance.
  
 How do I schedule an appointment?
  Call 352-8436 to schedule an appointment with the clinic’s health care provider.
  
 What else do I need to know?
 
  • Confidentiality: All health records are strictly confidential and securely filed. Information is released only when your permission is given by written consent.
  • Medical Records: A medical record is maintained on all patients. If you need medical records transferred, a written release is required.
  • Rehabilitative Therapies: Physical and occupational therapy is offered on campus. A referral is required. You are responsible for any charges incurred.
  • Specialty Clinics: Specialists from Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, Dermatology Associates, and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare host regular clinics at Waverly Health Center. You may be referred to these specialists by the health care provider.
  • X-rays: X-rays are performed at Waverly Health Center and must be ordered by the health care provider.
  • Collaborations: Clinic staff will collaborate with campus personnel and organizations to provide health education and manage on-campus health emergencies. The clinic also serves as a liaison to Bremer County Public Health as needed.
  
 Who is Noah?
 The Noah Campus Health Clinic facility was made possible by a generous gift from Keith and Helen Noah of Charles City. Keith, an attorney and former member of the Wartburg College Board of Regents, died Aug. 31, 2007. He and Helen had four children, including Wartburg graduate Steve Noah '71 and his wife, Jane Schmithuber Noah '72, of West Des Moines. Steve and Jane's daughter, Mariah Noah Collmann, '02 and her husband, Aaron '01, live in Alexandria, Va.

 Jane Zehr, PA-C, MHA
With more than 10 years of campus health experience, Ms. Zehr is a member of Waverly Health Center’s Active Medical Staff. She is a certified physician assistant and received her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Des Moines University.
  
 Waverly Health Center
 Noah Campus Health Clinic is an affiliate of Waverly Health Center (WHC). WHC offers a wide range of diagnostic and preventive care, as well as inpatient and surgery services. More than 50 health care providers and visiting specialists care for patients at WHC, allowing area residents immediate access to specialized care. Along with offering a wide variety of health care services, WHC is committed to promoting health and wellness in the communities it serves. Educational programming including fitness classes, personal training, community health screens, CPR and first aid classes, and health presentations are regularly offered.
