Waverly Health Center Volunteers
If you are looking for a way to help your community, think about volunteering at Waverly Health Center. We depend on our volunteers to help the hospital run smoothly. You choose how much you volunteer. Some volunteers work as little as one to two times a year, or as much as three times a week.

Steps to Become a Volunteer

Complete and return Volunteer Application and Criminal Background Check Waiver.
Schedule an interview with Volunteer Services staff.
Complete the volunteer orientation.
Complete Volunteer Health Requirements.
Complete position specific training.

Auxiliary Mission - "The Waverly Health Center Auxiliary will develop and maintain an efficient, competent, and humanistic volunteer program. We will assist the staff to ensure an extra dimension of care and service to patients with our presence and financial support in a responsible manner."

Auxiliary Fundraisers
The Waverly Health Center Auxiliary raises money to provide college scholarships for students entering health care careers and to help fund special Waverly Health Center projects. Each spring, the Auxiliary announces its fundraising goal for the year and Auxiliary members are invited to make a tax-deductible gift of money to show their support.
