Four members of the Waverly Health Center (WHC) team have been named October Spotlight on Values award winners. Nominated by co-workers, patients and members of the community, these individuals are examples of WHC’s values in action.
|Kali Klinghammer of Clarksville, medical-surgical, was recognized for the value of excellence. Kali was nominated for her growth in her profession. Her nominator continued, “She is not your average new graduate! Kali has the drive, intelligence and compassion to become a future leader in the nursing profession.”|
|Vicky Aissen and Jenni White, both of Waverly, surgery, were recognized for the value of leadership. Vicky and Jenni took lead roles in the newly added pain management services at WHC. Their nominator commented, “Their organization and commitment to our new patients and providers made for a successful start of this service line.”|
|Dr. Amber Crawford of Waverly, General Surgery Clinic, received WHC’s Quarterly Provider Spotlight on Values Award. Dr. Crawford was nominated for taking on the additional role of trauma medical director. Her nominator stated, “Dr. Crawford has been dedicated to making sure that our patients receive the most collaborative care to ensure the greatest outcome.”|
WHC has adopted six values which include compassion, enthusiasm, excellence, innovation, integrity and leadership. The Spotlight on Values program recognizes WHC employees, volunteers and physicians for demonstrating these values. Patients, visitors and employees are encouraged to submit nominations for the WHC Spotlight on Values honors. Nominations can be submitted online or at any Spotlight on Values ballot boxes placed throughout the health center.
