Breastfeeding Class

Certified breastfeeding educators will review basic principles and what to expect when breastfeeding. Significant others are encouraged to attend.

Diabetes Self-Management Education

This program offers individual appointments with flexible scheduling. The goal of the program is to assist people with type 2 diabetes, to improve glucose control by learning self-management skills and risk reduction behaviors. The program includes all 10 core content areas mandated by the American Diabetes Association for a recognized program, and by the Iowa Department of Public Health for a certified program.

A free 30-minute session with a certified wellness coach is included.

Heartsaver CPR & AED

Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based and instructor-led course that teaches CPR and AED use. It also includes how to relieve choking on an adult, child and infant. Participants will receive a 2-year completion card from the American Heart Association upon successful completion of the skills.

Heartsaver CPR & AED and First Aid Training

Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based and instructor-led course that teaches CPR and AED use. It also includes how to relieve choking on an adult, child and infant.

Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first-aid emergencies. Participants will receive a 2-year completion card upon successful completion of the class.
