Community Health Outreach Network (CHON)
We support the Community Health Outreach Network (CHON) program by connecting school- aged children to area service providers. These providers can give services to these students at their school. Services are provided through collaboration between Waverly Health Center, Waverly-Shell Rock Schools and the providers.CHON Brochure

Youth Tobacco Prevention Program
The goal of youth tobacco prevention programs is to lessen the chance of youth starting to use tobacco products and to protect youth from secondhand smoke. Schools in Bremer County take part in Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) or Iowa Students for Tobacco Education and Prevention (ISTEP). We sponsor these programs by supplying training and resources for student-led events in their school and community.
If you are a student or adult interested in learning more about starting a youth tobacco prevention program please contact us for more information.
