Congratulations to the 2024 Auxiliary Scholarship Winners!

The Waverly Health Center (WHC) Auxiliary is proud to share the winners of $12,000 in scholarships. These scholarships are granted to persons within WHC’s service area who have graduated high school or have completed the General Educational Development (GED) tests and have completed or are completing one year of education in a health career field. 

Winners, who were announced at the annual meeting on June 6, include: 

• Kelsey Hackenmiller, Waverly – Doctor of Nursing Practice, Allen College 

• Kaitlin Hilmer, Waverly – Master of Science in Nursing, Allen College 

• Emily Ivey, Waverly – Master of Occupational Therapy, Allen College 

• Talbot Kinney, DeWitt – Bachelor of Science in Biology, Wartburg College 

• Bailey Krull, Waverly – Master of Nursing in Leadership and Administration, Mount Mercy University 

• Raegen Matthews, Urbandale – Medical Student, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine 

• Miranda Popham, Clarksville – Doctor of Nursing Practice, Allen College 

• Gayle Robinson, Janesville – Paramedic, Hawkeye Community College 

• Stella Solheim, Cedar Falls – Nursing, Allen College 

• Isabel Thier, Waverly – Nursing, Mount Mercy University 

• Leland Williams, Eagle Grove – Paramedic, Iowa Central Community College
