Introducing Suede Dean Faust: The First Baby of 2025 at Waverly Health Center!

January 03, 2025

WHC's first baby of the new year, Suede Dean Faust, with parents Kennedy and Scott.

On January 2, 2025, at 6:03 AM, Kennedy and Scott welcomed their second bundle of joy—Suede Dean Faust—into the world at Waverly Health Center (WHC) with the help of Dr. Brooke Johnson. Weighing eight pounds and three ounces, Suede made a grand entrance as the first baby of the new year at our hospital. He is already bringing joy to his parents and everyone around him.

This is the second child for the family to be born at WHC, a place that’s become familiar and close to their hearts. Suede joins his big brother Wyatt, who is two years old. The family is overjoyed to have both boys at home.

Suede, like his big brother, will see Dr. Stacy Wagner and the pediatric team at Christophel Clinic, ensuring he is in great hands for all his early health milestones. “We just absolutely love it here and the care we receive is worth the drive from Independence,” stated Kennedy.

The Faust family is looking forward to the adventures ahead with their growing family. We are honored to be a part of their journey and wish them all the best as they begin this exciting new chapter with Suede.

In celebration of having Waverly Health Center’s first baby of the year, Kennedy and Scott received a special “First Baby Basket” stuffed with receiving blankets, toys, goodies and gifts for the new parents and baby. The baskets and gift bags are from the hospital, Center Pharmacy and WHC Auxiliary.
