Waverly Health Center’s Ambulance Department received the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Achievement Award. This is the third consecutive year the team has received the top-tier designation for excellence in emergency medical care for patients experiencing a stroke or a severe heart attack.
Mission: Lifeline® is the American Heart Association’s national program focused on improving systems of care for high-risk emergencies. The EMS award highlights pre-hospital care from the moment 911 is called through ambulance arrival at the hospital and recognizes teams that consistently meet high standards for speed, training and coordination.
