Waverly Health Center (WHC) emergency department (ED) had an unexpected visitor—four-year-old Reagan Keeran of Waverly. Better known in her family and neighborhood as "Princess Evel Knievel," Reagan is a young daredevil who loves couch stunts.
She recently took her talent to the next level, attempting to jump a bold five feet in her living room. Unfortunately, things didn't go exactly as planned. Reagan miscalculated her landing, bounced off the couch and crashed to the floor. The result? A rough tumble that required stitches, courtesy of Dr. Roof and the skilled WHC ED team.
As Reagan’s dad Mike paced anxiously in her ED room, her mother Samantha helped calm the little stunt performer. Dr. Roof and the team worked swiftly and efficiently to treat Reagan's injuries, ensuring that she was comfortable and in good hands. While the stitches were a necessary reminder of her latest stunt, it’s clear that Reagan's adventurous spirit won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
As her dad sighed with relief, there was one more thing on his mind: "Ugh, Reagan, you aged me another five years tonight!" Yet, despite the scare, it’s clear this little adventurer will be back at it, making memories along the way.
WHC ED is equipped to provide the care and expertise needed for all of life’s unplanned stunts. “Dr. Roof and the staff were just amazing. His incredible bedside manners made Reagan, Samantha and I feel very comfortable,” said Mike.
